The gloves gave great freedom for grappling, the leather finger straps were uncomfortable, but the real problem was with striking anything hard. After 30 minutes on a heavy bag my knuckles were bleeding from the gloves rubbing them. I know, they're not bag gloves but they weren't tight enough to handle heavy striking.

My students liked the extra padding and open palm. They did NOT like the leather finger straps.
