I am a Cardio Kickboxing instructor and I study Isshinryu. These are the best. It allows the student to hold a pad of someone who might otherwise out-power them on a focus. For a kickboxing class, the students LOVE the sound it makes on a targeted punch or kick! I have had mine for quite a while, and still are a sturdy as day 1.
