Each shin guard is padded with EVA high performance RAM-Force™ technology padding and 5 mm anti shock Rev-Tech Gel™ along the front center line to protect your shin. Instep guard is long enough to cover the foot and toes of most athletes. Rev-Tech Gel™ absorbs shock and neutralizes impact to allow you to train for hours without injury. Exclusive Ultra-Lock™ hook and loop closure straps close in opposite directions on the back of your leg to prevent shifting while kicking or checking.

Adjustable straps are cushioned for comfort and to prevent irritation while closed tightly. Shin guards are a pre-curved Formfit™ contoured shape so there is no need to break them in. Sold as pairs.

These are great taking a kick is extremely easy with these and throwing a kick has some tweaks but i have only tryed them twice unfortunately wish i had my own pair.

Great product . Well built from excellent material . I do heavy sparring at a American Top Team affiliate and these pads hold up and stay in place with only minimal adjustment needed and are comfortable to wear for hours of training with superior protection . Any one going through the usual headaches with there pads like twisting around on your leg the first time you throw a kick , buy these ..... you wont be disappointed .

After using the standard foam shin guards at my Krav Maga school and getting little protection I decided to step up and get a better quality pair. These shin guards work well. They're solid and stay in place. Two tiny issues keep me from giving them a five star review. The pads that run under the straps do have a tendency to slip on me so I have to push them back under the strap every once in a while. Maybe after more use they'll form-fit to my calf and not move as much. Maybe they can be designed to be a bit rounded in manufacturing to lessen the break-in period(?). Second, I wear wrestling shoes with these guards. The elastic strap that goes behind the heel could have just a quarter to a half inch more stretch to make it easier to get them on and off over a shoe.

Great shin guard. I'm 6'2 and fight lightweight. I have not-big legs, so every time I throw a kick, whether it lands or is checked, I have to readjust my guard multiple times in a round. These things STAY PUT! Training at American Top Team, I go with some good guys. 5 rounds of Muay Thai, lots of kicks, never touched them. Good padding keep the velcro off my skin and the buckles don't dig in. Good closure system stayed secure the whole session. Great protection for both guys up front. Only problem is there is NO padding in the ankle, but maybe I should stop landing with my ankle :)

Love them! 1st of all, they don't move around like the others do. 2nd, the padding on the straps is awesome (really awesome), no nagging pain in the back of your calf anymore because you pull them so tight, so they don't move, only to find they move anyway, sound familiar? So far these are great! Love them! Oh, and they cover the top of the foot, also bottom of toes, knuckle part which always seems to get hit in sparring, for me anyway.

I bought these for Mauy Thai and Haganah Sparring.. They are really comfortable and durable. My only gripe with them is I have big calves and the straps are just barely long enough to go around my calf but still hold great so just a minor gripe,, other than that they are great

These shin guards are comfortable and it is nice to have the leather on the backside of the straps to keep your legs from rubbing raw. When hitting there is very little felt which is really nice. All in all great shin guard. Only con is i wish the foot straps were a little bigger to be able to put them over my shoes in Krav Maga Class.

Thanks so much for the new shin guards! i used them today at Ivan's ULtimate Performance and Fitness Gym. He's a master trainer and MMA competitor. I really like kicking but the pain on the shins has been so bad that I had changed my body mechanics to compensate. While using the Revgear shin guards my kicks are much harder and crisper and my mechanics (according to Ivan) have improved instantly. The other trainers all stopped by to see the guards and how I was kicking better. Several of them tried them on and all said they were hands down the best guards they had ever used. Good luck to Revgear in 2012! The products are amazing.
